Takashi Hibiki

Professor of Nuclear Engineering

Dr. Takashi Hibiki joined the school of Nuclear Engineering as Professor in the Fall of 2006. He was an associate professor at Research Reactor Institute of Kyoto University (KURRI), Japan from October in 1997 to August in 2006 and an instructor at KURRI from April in 1990 to September in 1997. He was a visiting scientist at School of Nuclear Engineering at Purdue University from April in 1996 to August in 1997. He was also a visiting associate professor at High Energy Accelerator Research Organization, Japan in 1997, at Purdue University in 2000 and 2001, at Osaka University, Japan from 2001 to 2003.

His major research interests are in the nuclear thermal-hydraulics, instrumentation methods and modeling of two-phase flow.
