Neelakshi Majumdar — India

Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, Ph.D.
Graduation: May 2023

In my doctoral research, I modeled loss of control accidents (the deadliest cause of General Aviation accidents) by analyzing the NTSB accident reports, surveying, and interviewing pilots who had experienced loss of control. Findings from my study can help in better accident reporting and improve training methods and operating procedures for General Aviation pilots.
