My research deals with accelerating the discovery of novel materials for battery applications. This includes experiments, computational simulations, and machine learning.

A

I'm hoping to continue doing research in an industry position.

What is the coolest thing you have encountered at Purdue?

A

I've always liked the moon fragment that is in display at Armstrong Hall. It reminds me that all my research and academic efforts can have a major impact in history.

What do you do for fun at Purdue or nearby?

A

West Lafayette has quite a lot of nature areas. I like to spend time at these parks, whether it is hiking or just walking around.

What's something unique about you, or something most people don't know?

A

I got into Astrophotography after seeing some pictures from Death Valley National Park. I am planning a trip there for this summer after graduation so I can see it for myself.

Favorite food and why:

A

My favorite food is a bit controversial. I like Mexican Sushi. It's just like sushi, but breaded and deep fried. It basically transforms sushi into a snack, it's awesome.
