After graduation, I plan to be a High School Biology and Computer Science teacher.

A
Never pay for your own graduate degree, there is always someone willing to do it for you!

Why did you choose Purdue Engineering for your graduate studies?
A
Purdue Engineering, particularly the ABE department was an incredibly welcoming space that saw the value my diverse perspective could bring to their research projects.

What is the coolest thing you have encountered at Purdue?
A
The community of researchers at Purdue devoted to making the world a better place through quality mentoring and interdisciplinary projects is amazing!

What do you do for fun at Purdue or nearby?
A
I play video games, make art, write short fiction, and make a podcast!

What's something unique about you, or something most people don't know?
A
My BS is in education, which a lot of people don't associate directly with engineering or the ability to be successful in an engineering space. But I have a blast! And am excited to be a role model for diverse majors to know they are welcome, desired, and deserving of space in STEM spaces.
