On Monday June 12, 2023 over 815 people in the engineering graduate student community came together for a picnic on Memorial Mall. This gathering welcomed all engineers and their families, and focused on connecting and celebrating the accomplishments of Purdue Engineering Graduate Students over the past year.

The graduate community enjoyed food from Crabby Mikes, V’s Delicacies, and Igloo Frozen Custard. In addition to food, there were a number of activities for both little and big kids including, a bubble station, yard games, various artists (balloon and face paint), and a DJ and karaoke. All engineering graduate students and their families, graduate administrators and chairs, cabinet members, and postdoctoral fellows were welcomed at this event.
