The Materials at Purdue Symposium (M@PS) will be the first interdisciplinary materials research event at Purdue, and the Materials Engineering Graduate Student Association (MSEGSA) invites students from across the College of Engineering to participate. Talks will be given by Purdue graduate students and postdocs researching materials topics, providing a diverse celebration of contemporary work in this exciting field.

Students interested in listening to the talks can register at the link below to have lunch reserved and to receive a schedule of talks closer to the event. This will be a great way to understand materials topics better and to look for potential topics for collaborative or postdoctoral projects.

Additionally, presenters will be accepted from any student conducting research relevant to materials, regardless of department. If you’d like to present your work to a multidisciplinary audience, prepare an abstract outlining the motivation, methods, and conclusions of a past or current research project and submit it through the registration link below. The deadline for abstract submission is April 14th, and presenter decisions will be released a week later. See the attached call for abstracts for more details and the judging rubric that will be used to select presenters. All presenters will receive a gift from the MSEGSA!

Any questions can be sent to sinclai3@purdue.edu!
