Awards & Recognition

Purdue’s College of Engineering graduate students shine in their classrooms and labs, and off-campus at professional conferences, in academic journals, and as recipients of prestigious external fellowships. You can see highlights from some of our recent stars at the links below:

In addition to being prestigious, external fellowships can be lucrative. If you are a current or future graduate student interested in applying for an external fellowship, visit our list of external fellowships to view possible opportunities.

Once you have decided which fellowships to apply for, plan on registering for the “Writing Effective Fellowship Essays” workshop offered each fall semester to learn how to craft a successful fellowship application statement.

If you are U.S. Citizen, national or permanent resident in your senior year or first or second-year of graduate study, you may want to apply for the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP). Every fall the Graduate Education Office offers overview presentations by College of Engineering professors, as well as a series of workshops devoted to helping you write the two required application statements. Learn more and register for these workshops.

We hope to see your name on our list of awardees soon!
