Purdue set to host second Tech Summit in Silicon Valley
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Registration is under way for the second College of Engineering Tech Summit, scheduled for Thursday, June 18, at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California.
The event will showcase a series of presentations and panel discussions with leading faculty, alumni and industry partners, closing the gap between academic research and industry practice to better serve the world. In all, 17 panelists are confirmed, with eight of them representing Purdue Engineering. The full roster can be found on the summit web page.
“We’ll address the pressing tech topics of the day, including how we make progress in an age of physical AI, how we’re going to power the next generation of data centers and what America’s future looks like in space,” said Milind Kulkarni, the Michael and Katherine Birck Head and Professor in the Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
A keynote fireside chat with NVIDIA co-founder and fellow Chris Malachowsky also is planned.
“Attendees will get to engage with faculty on the cutting edge of research, industry pioneers blazing new trails and titans of the tech ecosystem,” Kulkarni said.
The summit will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. PST. Hotel and transportation information is available at the above event link. Parking is free.
