13 Boilermaker engineers named winter 2025 Academic All-Big Ten honorees

Thirteen College of Engineering students are among 72 Purdue University student-athletes who earned Academic All-Big Ten accolades in the winter 2025 sports season.
Biomedical engineering master's student Kathryn Ackerman is this season's only four-time winner. She also received Academic All-Big Ten honors in 2022, 2023 and 2024 while at the University of Michigan.
Ackerman broke the Purdue record in the 400-yard individual medley this season. The record had stood since 2016.
To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten, student-athletes must be enrolled full-time at their university for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
