ChE’s Pol named winner in Green Process Engineering
Vilas Pol, associate professor of chemical engineering, has been named the 2019 winner of the Program Committee’s Professional Achievement Award for Innovations in Green Process Engineering. The award is presented by the Innovations of Green Process Engineering for Sustainable Energy and Environment by the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE).

Pol was chosen for his distinguished contribution as an educator and for advancing innovations in green process engineering.
The award is sponsored by the Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Pol will deliver an address during the AIChE Annual Meeting in Orlando in November.
