EEE/IE team's environmental study recommends turning video off during virtual meetings

Researchers from Purdue EEE/IE, Yale University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology team up in the first environmental study to analyze the water and land footprints associated with internet infrastructure, in addition to carbon footprints. Leaving your camera off during a web call can reduce these footprints by 96%.

IE alum Keith Krach hailed as "catalyst for stronger US-Taiwan ties"

During a recent visit to Taiwan, U.S. Under Secretary of State, and Purdue IE alum, Keith Krach became the highest-ranking State Department official to visit the island since the U.S. established diplomatic relations with Beijing in 1979. Krach met with high-tech business leaders and top Taiwanese government officials to create a new economic dialogue.

The Purdue Ag-Celerator has invested a total of $100,000 in a startup created by ABE's Mohit Verma, DISCOVER (DIagnostic Sensors for Cause of bOVinE Respiratory disease), which aims to improve animal health.
