State, Purdue officials celebrate impact of Saab’s new advanced manufacturing facility

Purdue University’s economic impact on the state continues to grow. Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb and state officials joined those from Purdue on Oct. 13 to celebrate the grand opening of Saab’s West Lafayette multimillion-dollar facility. Located in the Discovery Park District adjacent to the Purdue campus, it will support production of the U.S. Air Force's next-generation T-7A jet trainer.

Purdue team, including BME’s Dadarlat, is part of NSF $15M AI award

Purdue researchers, including BME’s Maria Dadarlat, were selected as part of the newly created $15 million NSF HDR Institute of Accelerated AI Algorithms for Data-Driven Discovery (A3D3). The project will incorporate AI algorithms with new processors such that they can analyze unprecedented data sets.
