Abstract

Computing runs the world. Our ability to make fundamental advances in a number of fields of critical importance to humanity and society is directly dependent on our continued ability to realize more powerful and efficient computing systems. However, substantial headwinds threaten the rapid pace of progress made over the past six decades. This distinguished set of panelists will share their perspectives on the quest for the next 100x in computing efficiency and the most promising approaches that are likely to help us achieve that quest.
