The Future of Navigation and Communications – on the Earth and in Space

Abstract

The panel discussion will look towards what future navigation and communications systems might be called upon to do and what research, engineering and development work is needed to support such needs. The panel members bring expertise to discuss this future from perspectives of: satellite constellations & space traffic management, challenging environments on Earth—such as urban air mobility & systems of multiple autonomous systems, further uses of signals of opportunity for remote sensing of the Earth, and geomatics applications from sustainable infrastructure to agriculture.
