Fireside Chat

Join Lila Ibrahim for a casual Q&A-style presentation, focusing on her incredible career--starting from Purdue, with stops at Intel, Kleiner Perkins, Coursera and most recently DeepMind. As Chief Operations Officer with DeepMind, Lila was tasked with taking DeepMind to the next level and managing their next phase of growth.

Lila is a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute, an honour bestowed on emerging leaders. She sits on the Board of Directors for Gannett and is a Co-founder and Chair of Team4Tech, a non-profit that matches skilled volunteers from the tech industry with educational and entrepreneurial projects in developing countries. She has also received national recognition from the Anita Borg Institute (Women of Vision, 2010) and has been featured on the cover of ForbesWoman for promoting women in technology. Outside of work, Lila has established several computer labs at the Lebanese orphanage where her father was raised. She holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University.

Arnold Chen, managing director of the Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship in Purdue’s Discovery Park, will moderate the conversation with Ibrahim.
