Title
A Workshop on Digital Instructional Materials in support of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
Abstract
New federal regulations have updated existing requirements for web and digital accessibility in public institutions to be accessible to people with disabilities. By April 24, 2026, digital instructional materials, websites, shared documents, and digital applications must proactively meet accessibility standards for ADA. This workshop will cover strategies for making materials accessible in support of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Through examples and guided discussion, the workshop will highlight practical preparation prior to the compliance date.
