Alan Stern is a planetary scientist who led NASA’s New Horizons mission, which successfully explored the Pluto system and is now exploring the Kuiper Belt – the farthest exploration in the history of humankind. He spoke at Purdue University on October 10, 2019, and presented on the topic "What If We Return to Pluto?." He was introduced by Steven Collicott, a Purdue professor of aeronautics and astronautics.
