The 2017 Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURF) culminates with a Research Symposium, where participants will present their summer research either at an oral session or a poster session. This event provides a great opportunity for the Purdue community to learn more about the interesting and innovative research being conducted by undergraduates in various labs across campus.
This summer undergraduate students from engineering, science, and agriculture disciplines conducted research alongside Purdue faculty members, post-docs, and graduate students. Now it is time for the 162 students to share their discoveries with the Purdue community and public.
The Symposium will be held in the Kurz atrium in the Neil Armstrong Hall of Engineering, 9:30 AM to 4:15 PM. The morning session, 9:30 AM, will consist of oral presentations organized by themes in six rooms in Armstrong Hall, followed by a poster session at 11:00 AM in the Atrium. In the afternoon, the oral presentations will begin at 1:30 PM, with the afternoon poster session starting at 3:00 PM.
