Former U.S. secretary of state Colin Powell describes the delicate process of forging alliances, bringing people and countries together, and promoting universal human ideals of democracy and peace around the world.

Loeb Playhouse is now SOLD OUT

On Thursday, February 22, there will be overflow seating available on a first come, first served basis in the Purdue Memorial Union, South Ballroom with a live feed on screen from Loeb.  No tickets required. Doors open at 7:15 pm.

Open to all engineering students, faculty, and staff. Hosted by PESC, NSBE, DESAC, and SHPE student organizations.

Thursday February 22 – Career Networking Connection Panel Discussion
3:30 p.m. – Forney Hall of Chemical Engineering, Room G124
Open to all students, no admission charge. Sponsored by the Purdue Alumni Association Student Ambassadors group.

Friday February 23 – Distinguished Engineering Alumni Awards Luncheon and Convocation
11:30 p.m. • Purdue Memorial Union, North Ballroom (reservations required)
Recognizing Purdue engineers who combine technological know-how with creative vision.

Saturday February 24 – Phi Chapter of Theta Tau Fraternity presents the Rube Goldberg Machine Contest (Local)
10:30 a.m. • Purdue Armory Open to the public, no admission charge. Lunch available for purchase.
This year’s task: in 20 steps or more, juice an orange and pour the juice from a pitcher into a cup. See www.rubemachine.com for more information.
