On Saturday, April 2, 2016, Purdue School of Chemical Engineering will host the 8th Women in Chemical Engineering Seminar from 10:30 am - 2:30 pm, an event sponsored by Shell. The Seminar will bring together undergraduate students, graduate students, ChE staff and Purdue ChE alumnae for a special day of networking, sharing and discoveries.

The program for the day includes an opening lecture: “Trailblazers to Infinity”, followed by panel discussions with ChE Alumnae in 2 areas, speed networking for students and alumnae, and an optional informal networking session and tours of FRNY Building. The themes for the 2 panels are: (1) Chemical Engineering: A Spectrum of Careers, and (2) Subtle Bias: Real or Myth?

Registration for this event is required and space is limited. To register, please send an email to hendryxs@purdue.edu by March 5, 2016.

The School of Chemical Engineering wishes to thank Shell Oil Company for their continued sponsorship of the Women in Chemical Engineering Seminar. We sincerely appreciate our alumnae, who return to campus to participate and share their experience with our students.
