Vivek Thakkar earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Purdue University in 2001, followed by an Executive MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management in 2010. Thakkar currently serves as Vice President at Apple, where he is responsible for sales and business development for its Worldwide Enterprise, Worldwide Education, and US Carrier business. Before joining Apple, Thakkar held various roles spanning product management, engineering, supply chain, and sales in the telecommunications and consumer electronics industries. Outside of work, he serves on the Purdue ECE Advisory Board, contributing his industry expertise to shape the future of technology and education. Thakkar and his wife, Reshma, have lived in Chicago, New Jersey, and Singapore before settling in Cupertino with their twin boys when he joined Apple in 2014.
