Dr. Qian Lin

R&D Director, Hewlett-Packard

Dr. Qian Lin
"I came to Purdue from China to pursue a graduate degree in ECE. Purdue had one of the strongest imaging programs in the U.S., which was a research topic that I was very passionate about. After graduation, I pursued imaging research in industry for more than two decades, being involved in exciting projects in printing pipeline, image capture, online and retail photo services, and enterprise image and video analytics. Not only did I receive a high quality education from Purdue that well-prepared me for my career, but I have also been very fortunate to continue work with my advisor, Professor Jan Allebach, throughout all these years. The professional network I have with Purdue professors and students has been the most valuable part of the education."
