Rouz Jazayeri

Rouz Jazayeri earned a BSEE and an MSECE from Purdue in 2002 and 2004, respectively. He is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Catapult Ventures. At Catapult, Jazayeri and his team have built one of the world’s top seed-stage deep tech funds, supporting a new generation of practical, hands-on founders. Catapult’s success includes early exits from Oculii, XNOR.ai, Left Hand Robotics, FlightWave, and Engine ML.

Before Catapult, Jazayeri honed his investing skills at Kleiner Perkins alongside mentors like John Doerr and Wen Hsieh, working with companies such as Quantumscape, DJI, Ring, iControl, and MyFitnessPal. Earlier in his career, Jazayeri helped develop groundbreaking products at Intel, including its first 45nm microprocessor and the first MacBook Air to exceed 12 hours of battery life.

Jazayeri met lifelong friends at Purdue, including his wife. Outside of work, he enjoys tennis, football, and supporting his three kids in their own journeys.
