Ben Pekarek is a native of West Lafayette, Indiana, and an Electrical Engineering major who will begin his senior year in Fall 2023. He has led the largest student-run career fair in the nation, the Industrial Roundtable at Purdue. He also serves as president of the Purdue Engineering Student Council (PESC), a group whose goal is to serve students, industry and the community.

Pekarek has completed two internships with John Deere in Dubuque, Iowa—one as an electric drives intern and the other as an embedded software intern. He has also interned at Gentiam Electronics in West Lafayette and KA Components in Otterbein, Indiana.
