Biography

Reed Geiger is a PhD student in the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Purdue University, where he works as a graduate research assistant at Zucrow Laborators in Professor Carson Slabaugh’s research group. His research focuses on the study of combustion instabilities in hypersonic engines.

Raised in Churubusco, Indiana, he received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in aeronautical and astronautical engineering at Purdue.

Reed currently serves as treasurer for the Zucrow Student Association (ZSA) and is a representative of ZSA on the Engineering Graduate Student Advisory Council. He also volunteers as a classroom educator for the Junior Achievement program, where he teaches financial literacy skills to local K-12 students.
