2019 Staff Awards of Excellence Recipients
The 2019 recipients of the Awards of Excellence for engineering staff, shown below, were recognized at the annual Staff Awards Banquet on December 6, 2019.
ADMINISTRATIVE/PROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE AWARD
For her expertise in navigating the ever-changing landscape of the University's financial processes to meet the Schools of Materials Engineering and Aeronautics and Astronautics strategic goals and spearheading the shift in culture and performance of the Financial Affairs team.
Clerical/Service Customer Service Award
For her spirit of service, professionalism and integrity in serving as an ambassador for the School of Engineering Education during the ABET accreditation process, as well as developing new systems to help with file storage, senior capstone budgets and re-usable communication templates.
Leah H. Jamieson Leadership Award
For her resolute attitude, leadership and commitment to excellence in providing "big picture" guidance during the implementation of Success Factors, leading to improved climate, culture and communication within Purdue Engineering's Faculty Recruitment and Concierge Program.
New Employee Award
For her persistent passion in helping others and determination in providing resources for advisors, both inside and outside the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering, as well as streamlining student interactions and developing new approaches to diversity and inclusion.
Professional Achievement Award
For his ever-present compassion in shaping the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering's educational and outreach experiences through the reorganization of lab space, usage of technologies designed to improve classroom learning, the expansion and enhancement of the senior design course and engagement with under-served students.
