2020 Staff Awards of Excellence Recipients
The 2020 recipients of the Awards of Excellence for engineering staff, shown below, were recognized at the annual Staff Awards Banquet on December 4, 2020.
LEAH H. JAMIESON LEADERSHIP AWARD
For his dedication to transforming the culture, attitudes and environment in the School of Industrial Engineering through cultivating staff talent that builds on individual skillsets and interests, as well as adapting student curriculum, such as the Professional Master's Program, to complement the changing world and industry.
NEW EMPLOYEE AWARD
For her strong drive to equip all Purdue Engineers with the skills and resources for success and the overwhelming commitment to raise the bar of excellence and efficiency within the Minority Engineering Program through program development and offering a supportive environment for students of color to build relationships across engineering majors.
PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
For his aptitude in providing local and statewide transportation agencies with key programs, such as the Asset Management Program and Data Management System, which assist with the management and economic efficiency of the Indiana local transportation infrastructure, leading to improved road networks across the State.
PROFESSIONAL & MANAGEMENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AWARD
For her unequaled passion in championing the efforts of the Communicators, teammates and clients to create a strong, synergistic Purdue Engineering brand by providing key information, recommendations and direction to transform messaging that resonates with alumni, faculty, staff and prospective students along all media platforms.
SUPPORT CUSTOMER SERVICE AWARD
For her proactive approach in training new staff, creating resource material, anticipating faculty needs within the School of Mechanical Engineering, and serving as a model of excellence in her interactions with outside parties including high-level corporate and educational partners and faculty recruitment.
