The theme of this year’s GIRS is Reshaping the Future through Science and Technology, and all Engineering and Agriculture graduate students looking for opportunities to showcase their research are invited to attend!

 

GIRS 2023 showcases a wide variety of multidisciplinary research being conducted within the College of Engineering including:

  • Chemical and Biological Engineering 
  • Machine Systems Engineering (including pumps, fluid power, engines, etc.)
  • Environmental Sciences and Engineering
  • Civil Engineering (with a focus on Sustainable engineering)
  • Agricultural Sciences and Engineering
  • Other fields with a focus on agriculture, engineering, and sustainability!

They have allotted over $5,000 in cash awards for the various events to acknowledge outstanding work and give back to the graduate students. These include 15-min oral presentations, a poster session, and a 3-Minute Thesis competition. Please see the attached flyer and the links for more details.
