The Giant Leaps Summit will unite Purdue University, the Department of Defense, and the space industry to discuss the future of our national defense in the ever-changing space domain. The summit will begin on Friday, February 23rd at 6:00 pm with a keynote from Purdue President Mung Chiang. The bulk of the event will take place on Saturday the 24th beginning at 9:00 am with an opening ceremony. We will immediately move into an unclassified scene setter by Col Marqus Randall, Commander of the National Space Intelligence Center. At 10:00 am, the commander of Air Force Global Strike Command, General Thomas Bussiere, will deliver a keynote on strategic deterrence in space. As the day goes on there will be many more panels and briefs on topics such as near-future research, great power competition, tactical leadership, women in space, and industry developments. We have a wide array of guests who you won't want to miss. But that's not all, we will also be hosting an invite-only career fair for a limited number of students. This career fair will have several industry leaders such as Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman.
