Mark Shaw is a Strategist and Distinguished Technologist at HP Inc.'s Office Printing Division, where he leads Workflow Solutions strategy and applies AI technologies — including computer vision, machine learning, and generative AI — to improve printing and scanning experiences. With a PhD from Purdue University and a Master's in Color Science from RIT, he brings over 27 years of technical leadership in R&D to his work. Outside of HP, he mentors high school robotics students and teaches graduate-level Image Processing as an adjunct professor at Boise State University. 

Over his 23+ years at HP, Mark has been a key driver of AI/ML integration across the business, from developing an innovative print security feature for Ferrari in 2019 to establishing an HP Innovation Award program. He has spearheaded university research partnerships in embedded AI/ML and most recently led the development of AI capabilities within HP's consumer cloud platform, HP Intelligent Platform (HPIP), delivering customer-facing solutions such as Precise Print and Scan.
