Senior Lecturer Jeannete Aguilar joined the School of Engineering Education at Purdue in 2018 as a continuing lecturer for the First-Year Engineering Program. Her focus is on researching Dynamic Friction Models (Vehicles). She has 14 years teaching and advising junior, senior, and graduate students in Mexico. She was working for three years at the Autonomous University of Baja California(UABC), Baja California, Mexico as a Lecturer and Mechatronics Area Coordinator, and she was working one year at the Tijuana Institute of Technology(ITT), Baja California, Mexico as an Assistant Professor. Jeannete likes the mobile robotics, she has participated in several robotics competitions in Mexico and Unites States.
