Assistant Professor of Materials Engineering
Dr. Titus received his B.S. in Engineering Physics from The Ohio State University in 2010 and his Ph.D. in Materials from the University of California Santa Barbara in 2015. He is a recipient of the Alexander von Humboldt Postdoctoral Fellowship. As part of the fellowship, he was a visiting scholar at the Max Planck Institute for Iron Research in Dusseldorf, Germany (2015-2016).
Dr. Titus' current research interests include rapid alloy discovery and development of high temperature structural materials for aerospace applications and solute interactions with crystalline defects during high temperature deformation.
