Donna Riley
Kamyar Haghighi Head of the School of Engineering Education
Dr. Riley received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University, and her M.S. and Ph.D. from Carnegie Melon University in Engineering and Public Policy. Prior to coming to Purdue, she was a Professor and Interim Head in the Department of Engineering Education at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Before that, she served as Program Director for Engineering Education at the National Science Foundation and was a founding faculty member of the Picker Engineering Program at Smith College, the first engineering program at a U.S. women's college.
Dr. Riley’s research interests include engineering and social justice; engineering ethics; social inequality in engineering education; the liberal education of engineers; and engineering studies.
