Shriram Ramanathan
Professor of Materials Engineering
Shriram Ramanathan received his undergraduate degree in Metallurgy from IIT Madras, his M.S. in Materials Engineering from the University of Houston and a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University in 2002.
Dr. Ramanathan was on the research staff at Components Research, Intel, for over three years and was most recently a member of the Applied Physics faculty at Harvard University (2006 – 2015).
Dr. Ramanathan’s research interests are in materials sciences of complex oxides, strongly correlated matter and their applications in solid state devices.
