Shweta Singh

Assistant Professor of Environmental and Ecological Engineering and Agricultural and Biological Engineering

Shweta Singh received her undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi, India (B. Tech, 2006), and her Ph.D. in chemical engineering from The Ohio State University in ’12.

Before coming to Purdue, she was at the University of Toronto where she held a National Research Council postdoctoral fellowship working in residence with the Western Ecology Division of the EPA. Her work there focused on systems-scale models for nitrogen flow, coupling natural systems with economy.

Her research interests include life-cycle analysis (methodological development), systems modeling for designing sustainable, coupled natural-human systems and complex systems theory/tools for sustainability assessment and design of production networks.
