Omid Nohadani

Assistant Professor of Industrial Engineering

Omid Nohadani received a master’s degree (Diploma) in theoretical physics from the University of Bonn (Germany), and a PhD degree in physics from the University of Southern California in 2005. Prior to coming to Purdue, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Operations Research Center of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Nohadani also held a research fellowship at Harvard University, developing novel techniques in radiation therapy. His research interests include robust optimization, engineering design, non-linear optimization, simulation methods and high-performance computing, healthcare and radiation therapy.
