Satish Ukkusuri
Associate Professor of Civil Engineering
Satish Ukkusuri earned a bachelors degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, a masters degree from the University of Illinois, and a PhD from the University of Texas. Before joining the faculty at Purdue, he was an assistant professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. His research interests include freight transportation and logistics, engineering for extreme events, complex network science, climate change and transportation land use, modeling uncertainty in transportation networks, simulation of large scale robust transportation networks, online network equilibrium problems, information and sensor technologies for transportation applications and infrastructure security.
