Mihailo Stojnic

Assistant Professor of Industrial Engineering

Dr. Mihailo Stojnic received M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the California Institute of Technology in 2003 and 2007, respectively. His research interests include probability, optimization and algorithms, and their engineering applications. He is particularly interested convex optimization, semi-definite programming, and Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) algorithms. Dr. Stojnic also has strong research interests in classical areas, such as estimation, bioengineering microarrays, signal processing, information theory, quantum detection.
