Corey Neu
Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering
Dr. Corey Neu received his Sc.B. in mechanical engineering and Sc.M. in biomedical engineering from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He completed his Ph.D. in biomedical engineering in 2004 at the University of California at Davis. He was a postdoctoral scientist in the Center for Regeneration and Repair at UC Davis Medical Center from 2004 to 2007. Before he joined Purdue, he was an assistant adjunct professor of orthopedic surgery at the University of California at Davis.
His research interests are in the response of skeletal cells to mechanical stimuli, motion encoding and deformation measurements using MRI, tribology of artificial joints, regeneration and repair of articular cartilage, biomechanics, and medical imaging.
