Zheng Ouyang

Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering

Dr. Zheng Ouyang received his B.E. and M.E. from the Department of Automation at Tsinghua University in China. He received his M.S. in physical chemistry from West Virginia University and his Ph. D in analytical chemistry from Purdue University. He was a post-doctoral fellow, an assistant, and an associate research scientist at Purdue before joining the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering.

Dr. Ouyang's research interest is in the instrumentation of mass spectrometry, including the miniaturization of ion trap mass spectrometers, ion trajectory simulation, protein soft ionization, and protein purification using ion soft landing.
