Dr. James A. Tompkins is an international authority on designing and implementing end-to-end supply chains. Jim is an entrepreneur and Chairman of five companies. Over his 50-year career, he has founded 15 businesses that have generated over $2 billion in revenue. Jim is known for

Jim is a co-founder and chairman of Tompkins Logistics, a newly formed end-to-end logistics partner. Jim is also chairman of STRM, Task4Pros and Telestot-Tompkins.

Jim earned his Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, where he is recognized as a Distinguished Engineering Alumnus. He is the recipient of the prestigious Frank and Lillian Gilbreath Award from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers. He has written 31 books, more than 2,000 articles and blogs, delivered more than 2,000 live presentations and appeared on more than 500 podcasts.

Jim has been married for 57 years and is the proud father of three children and grandfather of eight.
