Project transforms Max W & Maileen Brown Family Hall of Electrical Engineering

The Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering today (10/10) celebrated the grand reopening of the 1st floor of the Max W & Maileen Brown Family Hall. The renovated space includes cutting-edge undergraduate instructional labs, collaborative graduate research spaces, inviting student lounge, TA and student collaboration space, renovated restrooms, and improved accessibility and energy efficiency.

Purdue PhD candidate has article published in Nature Communications

Purdue University PhD candidate Lucas Cohen recently had a research paper, "Silicon Photonic Microresonator-Based High-Resolution Line-by-Line Pulse Shaping," published in the journal Nature Communications. This work represents a significant advance in the field of optical pulse shaping, a crucial technology for applications in ultrafast optics, radio-frequency photonics, and quantum communications.

Keysight Technologies provided equipment and training for a new lab in the renovated Max W and Maileen Brown Family Hall (BHEE).

Purdue Prof. Santokh Badesha named a Foreign Fellow of the Indian National Science Academy

Santokh Badesha, Distinguished Professor in Purdue University's Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, has been elected as a 'Foreign Fellow' of the Indian National Science Academy (INSA). Foreign fellows are individuals who do not live in India and are renowned for their contributions to science and have contributed or can contribute to the progress of science in India.

Purdue Prof. Anand Raghunathan receives 2024 SRC Technical Excellence Award

Anand Raghunathan, the Silicon Valley Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, was named the 2024 Technical Excellence Award winner by Semiconductor Research Corporation (SRC) for his pioneering contributions to the design of artificial intelligence hardware and approximate computing.
