Faculty promotions approved by Purdue trustees
Purdue University's Board of Trustees recently approved faculty promotions, including four for the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Dionysios Aliprantis, Sunil Bhave, Saeed Mohammadi, and Jeffrey Siskind were all promoted to full professor.
To be promoted to full professor, faculty members should be recognized as authorities in their fields of specialization by external colleagues -- national and/or international as may be appropriate in their academic disciplines -- and be valued for their intramural contributions as faculty members.
The promotions are effective with the 2019-20 academic year.
