Graduate students receive Magoon Awards

The Magoon Awards are given to outstanding teaching assistants in memory of Estus H. and Vashti L. Magoon. The eight recipients are: Shaobo Fang, Jose D. Esquitin Hinzpeter, I-Fan Lin, Wonil Chung, Debasmit Das, Vipul Vishnu Bhat, Elizabeth Grubbs, and Hung-Yi Lo.

Eight graduate students were awarded the Magoon Award at the College of Engineering awards luncheon on April 14th. The award is given to outstanding teaching assistants in memory of Estus H. and Vashti L. Magoon, who have influenced the lives of many engineering educators early in their careers through this award. Recipients of the Magoon Award each receive $2000 and a certificate.

The recipients are: Shaobo Fang, Jose D. Esquitin Hinzpeter, I-Fan Lin, Wonil Chung, Debasmit Das, Vipul Vishnu Bhat, Elizabeth Grubbs, and Hung-Yi Lo.
