Santokh Badesha, an adjunct professor in the Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, has played a pivotal role in driving the digital publishing revolution. His inventions have profoundly impacted the productivity and communication of millions of individuals and businesses worldwide. Since the 1990s, nearly all Xerox printing machines have incorporated his innovations. Badesha's inventions have been instrumental in popularizing laser printing technology and pioneering color laser printing. With an impressive portfolio of 263 U.S.-issued patents, he stands as one of the most prolific inventors in history. The National Academy of Inventors named him a fellow in 2021, and the Institute of Engineering and Technology honored him with the IET Mountbatten Medal in 2022.
