Rita S. Lane 

Rita S. Lane earned a master’s degree in electrical engineering in 1991, after graduating from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1984. Her successful career started at IBM, where she spent 15 years and ultimately served as vice president for integrated supply chain. Subsequently, Lane was senior vice president for integrated supply chain at Motorola for two years before joining Apple in 2008. At Apple, Lane assumed the role of vice president of operations, overseeing supply chain management and manufacturing for various products, including iPads, iMacs, and Apple’s Mac accessories. Purdue honored Lane as a Distinguished Engineering Alumna in 2014.
