Inventor of the June Oven and many Apple innovations

Nikhil Bhogal graduated with a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering in 2003. He started his career at Motorola, where he worked on embedded software development for the RAZR phone. Bhogal then moved to Apple, where he was an engineer contributing to development of the original iPhone through the iPhone 5, as well as the original iPad through the iPad 3. At Apple, he is credited as an inventor with many camera technology patents, spanning such innovations as tap-to-focus, panorama processing, continuous image capturing, zero shutter lag, and lock screen camera. Later, he co-founded June Oven, whose smart kitchen combines 12 appliances into one. In 2021, Weber acquired the company, and Bhogal became Weber’s senior vice president of technology and connected devices while remaining as June’s co-founder and chief technology officer.
