Joseph T. Mallof 

Joseph T. Mallof, a 1972 graduate with a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, has had a distinguished career in the consumer products industry. After earning an MBA from the University of Chicago in 1974, Mallof began a 21-year tenure at Procter & Gamble, where he held senior management roles and contributed to the success of various iconic brands. In 1995, he joined S.C. Johnson, where he served as president of North American Consumer Products, president of Central and South America, and president of Asia. In 2002, Mallof became president of CIBA Vision. Four years later, he was appointed chief executive officer of World Kitchens, overseeing such brands as Corelle, CorningWare, Magnalite, and Chicago Cutlery. Mallof's dedication to education and Purdue is evident through his philanthropic efforts, including the Professor James W. Barany Scholarship endowment to honor his favorite professor. Purdue recognized Mallof with an Outstanding Industrial Engineering Alumnus Award in 2005.
