Genetic Optimization System Engineering Toolbox 2.6
The Genetic Optimization System Engineering Toolbox is a Matlab based general purpose genetic algorithm package to support single- and multi-objective optimization. It has been used at extensively at a number of universities, companies, and laboratories for design optimization, particularly in power engineering and power electronic applications.
The GOSET software package is a direct result of three research awards from the Office of Naval Research. The software itself had its beginnings prior to any formal research support, at that time it was known as ENEGAT (ESAC Non-Encoded Genetic Algorithm Toolbox). Later, a substantial revision and expansion of the software were made under Office of Naval Research (ONR) support through contracts N00014-02-1-0990, N00014-02-1-0623, and N00014-08-1-0080.
GOSET is coordinated by S.D. Sudhoff. Note that individual user questions cannot be supported as the code is distributed at no cost. However, error reports or comments to improve future versions are welcome.
GOSET is free software: it can be redistributed and/or modified under the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation, either version 3 of the License, or (at your option) any later version.
