The purpose of the award is to recognize exceptional research carried out by graduate students. Sumeet received this award in the category of Circuit Design Technologies for his doctoral research entitled “Technology-Circuit Co-design and Analysis of Multi-gate FETs for Memory Applications”.

The undergraduate rankings are computed from survey responses from deans and selected senior faculty, who rated programs on a 1-5 scale from marginal to distinguished.

ECE researchers have learned how to mass produce tiny mechanical devices that could help cell phone users avoid the nuisance of dropped calls and slow downloads. The devices are designed to ease congestion over the airwaves to improve the performance of cell phones and other portable devices.

The Frontiers of Engineering Education (FOEE) Symposium brings together some of the nation's most engaged and innovative engineering educators in order to recognize, reward, and promote effective, substantive, and inspirational engineering education through a sustained dialogue within the emerging generation of innovative faculty.
